Pagi Raya

as Papa couldn't be with us that day, we did what we could to make it a happy Eid for all of us.....this entry is specially dedicated to Papa who wasn't able to witness first hand all these moments ......
that morning, we just went solat at the mosque.....after solat and exchanging greetings, the boys got some goodies from the mosque..... and later at noon, we were invited to Tante Awie's house for lunch.....

The sculptures are very impressive, especially the DaVinci Horse.....it was an amazing site

Gardens Experience
|
|
we were glad that we visited the place for we did not expect such a sophisticated site...... everyone was so pleased with the place..........everything there was worth the cost of admission........ there are acres of land and beautiful gardens within the Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park (indoor, outdoor & seasonal) and given the 2 hours we had , we couldn't cover all of them.....
to entertain both the boys...we went to the Children's Garden first...then strolled through the Sculpture Park to see the great art of many renowned sculptors.....the sculptures are very impressive......and just before we left...we had a quick tour of the indoor gardens ( tropical, victorian, carnivorous & arid) 
there were many more attractions that we missed ......but we sure will be going back to the gardens again next spring.... .

it came as a complete surprise when we received a parcel all the way from London that day... .there were double decker buses and London tees for Iman & Ihsan......and a fridge magnet for Mama 
Iman has been wanting the double decker since Cik Ja started buying him yellow school buses from a few places she' d been .....then he asked for it again when Cik Ja had to go to the Netherlands .....but of course Cik Ja couldn't find one there except for the wooden shoes  .

Our favorite aunt came to visit us recently and brought us an airport play set ......as well as t shirts from the Netherlands ( the one for Iman, Cik Ja got it from the famous Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam which shows one of Vincent van Gogh's painting on the front of it .... while Ihsan got his first Hard Rock cafe t shirt from Amsterdam ) .....Cik Ja also gave Ihsan another aeroplane and a fisher price phone so that he can call Cik Ja more often

Proud to be a Malaysian

when I saw the Malaysian flag at Iman's school.........proudly hanging on the wall ...it was that moment when i felt like it was my patriotic duty  to tell Iman something about the flag (simple things that he could understand ) ..... then took some pictures of it and told Iman that he should feel proud to be a Malaysian everytime he walks down the hallway and sees the Malaysian flag there

Playing Solo

when abg Iman is not around.....he is just happy to play by himself - as long as he is doing something exciting like rummaging through his big brother's stuff....or climbing up sofa...or scribbling on the wall...... he's not the type that frequently pleas for round-the-clock attention ...but there are still times when we got up to do something, he would call us right back asking to play or stay with him

Kindergarten Parade

we went to see Iman and other kindergartners along with their teachers parading around the school .....there are 3 kindergarten classes - Dolphin, Mouse & Bear ...each class has its own chant...Iman & his classmates chanted ;

You are welcome ! There is nothing more meaningful to us other than our beloved nephews feeling really happy! Kami dah lama dah nak hantaq double decker bas tu...sampai jugak hajat! Ihsan jangan nangis ok...you have your own bus...if abang Iman won't let you play with it, let us know...we won't buy him a London black taxi next time 
, sok camaner la agaknya Ca sekolah...hantaq Tadika KEMAS je la kot...
