Ihsan turns 3

For our little guy's 3rd birthday, we threw him a little party .....inviting a couple of M'sian families and friends. For the buffet, we served ayam tandoori, cheese naan, mee rebus, karipap & for dessert we had a birthday cake and ice cream.
The event was fabulous I must say, everyone had a great time especially the birthday boy. He was the happiest kid alive basking in everyone's attention.

The Orchid Show

The boys went to orchid show with Papa that day.....and hence I got quite a bit of time on my hands to catch up on my leisure reading ...... which has always been an impossible task whenever the boys are around.

Indoor Monster Truck Show
|
|
The boys had an experience of a lifetime. They were just thrilled. The show was awesome except for the loud noise (the boys had to put on earplugs ).
It was the first time we've had the opportunity to see monster trucks in action. What a great experience getting to see it up close.

|
“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” so says the popular children’s rhyme....
but in our case, the rhyme goes "All work and no play makes Papa a dull daddy"  Papa worked Soooo hard that whole month and he just needed a break.....
......... so we let Papa pick a day that he could have hours of enjoyment without us tagging along ....and off he went with 3 other friends to the Motor Show ...here are the few pictures that Papa managed to capture for the boys especially to enjoy....

BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM YOUR PARENTS

To my beautiful baby,
It is SOooo hard to believe that it has already been 6 years since you came into our lives. We take so much joy in every single thing you do or say. We marvel at how much you have already learned and how well you have achieved. ...Happy birthday our darling boy .... you are special and so very much loved ..... The world would be dull, lonely, and empty without you in our lives.
Mama loves you because :
1. You are the first baby that was mine, all mine and could have you all to myself...that means a lot.
2. You are my crazy one and i love it ..... i love it when both of us talk gibberish and pretend to really understand each other  .... I actually like it when you act silly
3. I can't get mad at you. Well, I can, and I have, but I can't stay mad
4. I'm amazed by you every single day. You learn so fast
5. Your sad face...you always have that look even when you really really make mama mad (those looks that melt me down) and I can't bare to see your face esp right before you cry.
6. Your sense of humor...you're sooo funny ..please dont lose that ...
7. I like the way you call "mama" (you have a softer voice than your brother) altho it does annoy me sometime when I'm in a bad mood .
8. I love those curls..who wouldnt ....but I'm not cutting the curls anytime soon (but I know you want your hair straight).....that makes you special......and I know that you hate it when sometime people have to guess on the boy/girl thing ......but if you ask me you are 100% boy .......do you know that you make me feel bad whenever you start comparing your hair with your brother's?? .......esp. when you say " Mama only loves Ihsan because he has straight hair....and mine is ugly and curly"....... ..pleaseee don't do this to me again)
9. I find it amusing that you want me to comb your hair every morning before school , keeping it very straight and that no one can touch your hair while it's wet .
9. last but not least , i just love you, love you and love you....I dont want you to grow up...Well I actually do .....it's nice to see that you dont have to depend on me so much now but it's awful knowing that someday you'll be a teenager, and then a man.
